NARA Community Early Learning Centre Fence Project
Nara’s design brief was to paint the fence at the entrance of the Centre to reflect the warm, welcoming, family nature of Nara while also complimenting the recently renovated addition to their building.
Lindy developed a design that was modern, yet welcoming and was visually striking from a distance while allowing details to be revealed on closer inspection.
The spherical pattern allowed the children, staff and families of Nara to decorate sections, while also allowing the flexibility to add or alter the design in years to come. The fence was made interactive by incorporating chalk board paint for both staff and children to add to the fence on the daily basis.
The Nara Fence project was able to be realized thanks to a Leader Newspaper Community Grant. The project was completed in 2013.
